As the Chairman of the group, I firmly believe that creating sustainable value for the Group is the best expression of our gratitude to our shareholders, business partners and our valued customers. I am proud to witness the resilience of the Group’s businesses facing challenges brought by the pandemic disease and adverse economic environment.

In the past decades, the Group has grown from a rice trading and distribution company in Hong Kong to a multiple-businesses corporation involving packaged consumer goods, convenience retailing, eco-friendly packaging solutions and our latest project of creating a retailtainment hub in Niseko. Our businesses cover Hong Kong, Europe, North America, GBA, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and a few other South East Asian countries.

In 2026, the Group will celebrate its 80^th anniversary! In welcoming that milestone, it is now perfect timing for the Group to reformulate its business vision beyond its first 100 years of operation.

As the fourth Captain of our family mothership, I am leading the mothership to navigate from family business management model towards establishing a much more rigorous corporate structure. Every business in the Group is led by experienced and high-power executives, connoisseurs of their respective professions. We firmly believe that professional managers can have a significant and positive impact on family business as good leaders will cultivate more future leaders, thereby attracting more quality talents to Golden Resources. I am very grateful that the seeds of high calibre talents have grown vigorously in our businesses!

Meanwhile, the Group is stepping up its efforts to make better use of the synergies and expertise among various businesses, and will invest resources in multiple markets in Asia, especially Hong Kong, Vietnam and Japan to develop innovative and sustainable platforms for the future business growth.

Looking back, the Group is a pioneer in the industry, and it can be said that it has the DNA of an inventor.  Today's harvest is the fruit of yesterday's continuous innovation and hard work. Just as the Group motto: "Make Today Golden for Tomorrow", every step taken today is creating an effective and strong platform for the Group's sustainable growth and development tomorrow. We look forward to an ever more vibrant, diversified and profitable Golden Resources Group in the coming future!
